Pietro Civera

Biographie

Voice performer, radio speaker and artistic director, Pietro Civera was born in Cuneo on November  23rd, 1987. At the age of 14 he first expressed his passion for music and event management, that paved the road to his success today. He nurtures a passion that continues to grow over the years without neglecting his classical education. In 2011 he graduated from Public Relations and Advertising at the Libera Università di Lingue e Comunicazione IULM, based in Milan, home to Pietro since 2006.

Pietro took his first steps as a vocalist in the summer of 2007, when the adventure began at "El Sarto" a trendy club in Alba (CN). After what proved to be an extremely positive experience and within  a very short time Pietro became the most requested mc at some of the best clubs in the north of Italy, including "Evita" Cavallermaggiore (CN) marking the beginning of a career that led to becoming one of the most talented voice performers in the Italian scene and beyond. Every day he continues to improve his artistic personality through a mix of spoken and sung pieces, never invading but always enriching nights of soulful shades.

In the 2008  Pietro was chosen as the official voice for "Serate Milanesi," a group of organized events that engaged him as resident vocalist in the best clubs of Milan (The Club, Old Fashion, Just Cavalli, Limelight to state a few).

In January 2009 he joined the winning team manager Alberto Gobbi, who is currently expanding his working horizons in famous clubs throughout Italy and abroad, such as the "Big" (TO), the "Vanilla" (Riazzino Switzerland), Muza Park (Tirana, Albania), etc.  In the summer of the same year Pietro started working with  the "Centoeventi" agency of Milan, who chose his voice to represent the largest university parties in Europe: "Snowbreak "(Sestriere, Turin) and" Sunbreak. " (Porto Cervo, Sardinia)

In the following years, new performances and new cities followed one another at full speed, taking Pietro from Milan to Rome, Naples, Palermo, Riccione, Gallipoli, Paris and Ischia. In the summer of 2010, he became the official voice of the Italian tour "Giant Mojito" by Havana Club and later began working in collaboration with the artistic staff of the evening "Fidelio" at "The Club" (Milan).
In 2011 he committed to being the speaker for the Italian tour "Urban Wave" by Camel cigarettes, a full experience that saw him share the stage with some of the biggest names in the worldwide club scene including Little Louie Vega, Planet Funk, Wally Lopez, Alex Gaudino, Tommy Vee, Sydney Samson, Nicola Fasano, Djs From Mars, Kenny "Dope" Gonzales, and many others.
In the same year, together with friend and dj Lorenzo D'Oria, Pietro Civera created the house project called "Overflow"; a successful partnership that is dedicated to focusing on quality night-time musical performances.
In October 2011, Pietro became music director of the web radio "Radio Maliboom Boom", called "street radio" due to its location in the window of one of the most important streets of Milanese nightlife andconsidered one of the most important emerging web radios in Italy. In addition, along with Lorenzo D'Oria Pietro directs the show "Drink Sound" on the same channel, entirely dedicated to club musical genre.

In the April 2012 "Voices in the Night" was released, the first production in which Pietro, hidden behind the acronym of "Pete Wedge", lends his voice. Made by the young dj/producer Federico Merk (Merk & Kremont) and produced by the great name in the dance world "Molella”.

Pietro continues to run the best clubs in Italy and Europe, also thanks to the Camel tour that has confirmed his presence for the fourth consecutive year.
Since September Pietro Civera directs daily the radio show Viva Day Bay Day on Radio Viva FM.
